PC Tech News - GTX 970 specs and designs released

After months of rumors, speculation and so on, third party companies such as Asus have shown off their new line of GTX 970 graphics cards which will feature 4GB of GDDR5 RAM which is actually new seeing how GTX X70 cards are usually running with 2GB since the GTX 500 series GPUs.

The news was announced on Wednesday when Asus and many other companies announced their line of GTX 970 graphics cards, this also falls in line with Nvidia's 24 hour event tomorrow which they are said to be releasing the new GTX 900 series tomorrow.

The new GPUs are using the brand new Maxwell Architecture which is updated from the older Maxwell architecture from the older GTX graphics cards.

This is very exciting news for PC builders and just hobbyists who enjoy building PCs because these new GPUs are to be sold for £300 to £500 and have the same horsepower of the R9 295x2 GPU which costs at around £1500 (But they could be clocked in lower than the R9 295x2).

Here are some images of the new GPUs:

So what do you guys think?
Do you want to upgrade or leave the card until the price drops?

Thank you for reading,
